i want to start getting ideas for my dh 30th......... i want to do something fun so i was thinking about renting out a bowling alley or having it at Jillians........does anyone have any insight on hosting a party at Jillians? i would prefer jillians over bowling........any other fun ideas would be appreciated!!!

i had a group of friends meet us at the bar in a hotel and then everyone got rooms there for the night. it was a nice surprise for him and he seemed to have a good time.

going away on vacation is always a great idea! but, we are planning a big vacation and we also have a destination wedding so i really wanted to throw him a party with his friends and family....... something fun....all about him!! he always tries to give me suprises so now it's my turn!!

I see what you mean, there are a few bars in the city I think Moo's carribean's owner does porker parties and themed things like that.

I have no idea about Jillians. I think it was bought out by Dave & Busters anyways from what I hear.
Would he really enjoy his 30th at Jillians though??? Why dont you look into more of a older-type-crowd kind of place.....maybe a favorite restaurant, lounge or bar he may like.....there are tons of them.
I took my DH to Mexico for his, but I know a vacation is out of the question for you.

For my DH's (a million years ago) we had it at home, but had everyone come dressed as OLD people. It made him look like the youngest.
