So I'm turning the big 3-0 in a few weeks (Feb 12) and DH suggested I do something special. I'm not good at figuring out things to do (I'm not a big bar person) so I'm pretty stumped right now and thought you all might have some ideas!
I live in Brooklyn but am willing to go into Manhattan. I have no idea how many people would come but I figure at least 12-15 (friends, co-workers, etc).

My girls took me to lucky chengs and omg I had the best time of my life it was so funny and a great time

my family is beyond amazing and threw me a party at strikes. we all bowled, had food, drinks! super fun time! they rented the lanes and had all the food and drinks for everyone. it was pricey but they thought i was worth it!

that sounds like soo much fun!! my FHs birthday is next month and that sounds like a good idea to for bday!

I'm thinking dinner (possibly Carmine's or another family-style restaurant) and then out somewhere after. I'm not a crazy bar person, but I will go as long as it's not too crowded and loud....

my 30th is actually tomorrow
this saturday, DH is taking my closest friends and family out to dinner at Agave, and then he reserved the 2nd floor at Galway Hooker downtown (the one on 7th) for a much larger party with all our friends!
