<3<3<3 QOTD 9/23/09 <3<3<3

Good morning girlies!! Happy Wednesday, we're almost there!! So for today's QOTD, let's re-live some of our favorite memories.

If you were able to re-live 1 day of your life, what day would that be and why? (And don't say engagement, I'm sure that's a lot of girls)

Edited because it's too early in the morning and I forgot to answer my own question.

If I had to re-live any day of my life, it would be any day before 5th grade when my parents weren't divorced. When my dad, mom, sister and I would go out and spend the entire day together and have fun. It's funny when I was younger and watched tv and movies where parents were divorced, I always thought how great it was that my parent's weren't. Then fast forward to 5th grade, they separate and haven't really seen my mom since then.

Definitly the day my niece Emma was born!! My twin sister had trouble getting pregnant and when we found out she was going to have a baby, that was the greatest gift. I remember every minute of that day and how I felt before she was born and seeing her wheeled out by my brother in law for the first time. Holding her for the first time was the most special feeling in the world and from that day, I knew we had a specail bond and I would love her like she were my own!!

This is a great question - I'm really enjoying reading everybody's responses!

I would have to say any day in my childhood - just playing barbies with my older sister, spending time with my whole family, when my grandfather was still alive. Those were really precious days.

Me too! I have so many memories of my grandma. I wish that she was here for this whole wedding process. It makes me cry every time I think about it.

Any sunday pre 1988 when both of my mom's parents were still alive. They drove out to our house from Queens every sunday. I can still see my poppa's car pulling up behind the bushes. I can still hear his whistling through his teeth and the change jingling in his pocket. I can still see my nanny walking down the (i was seriously just about to type 'aisle') path with her green and white delman's shopping bag that had her 'gravy' in it (red sauce with meat). She always had a pack of Hubba-Bubba for me in the inside zipper pocket of her pocketbook. It was our secret.

And, now i'm sad.
