This may take everyone a little while to figure out, I my self have been thinking about it for a few days:

I love the whole song about being in love with your best friend.
But the most important part of the song for me is

Every one ( including me ) was always asking him when he was going to purpose since he waited a long time. But i always told him that i would wait for him .

Also for a long time we only saw each other on weekends and every time we said good bye on Sundays i would cry , and try to get him to keep kissing me so he wouldn't leave yet.

It first came out when we began dating, and now 8 years later when I hear it, it reminds me of that time. Plus, the words are amazing. FH and I started dating in our crazy college years, so we've been through a lot of drama and nonsense (haha)...but we made it!!!

wow...we have so many songs that really define us...but for some reason, this song always pops into my head bc we became such great friends before anything happened. We spent every minute together.

The reason this is 'our' song is because when we were first dating we had alot of issues in our relationship and everyone around us gave us bad vibes about staying together and never thought we would make it. Well we are proving everyone wrong and couldn't be happier being together!

We were going to have this as our wedding song, but FH's sister is using a shania twain song as hers and she gets married before us!

hahaha Mine is really funny actually. When I met my hubby when we were 17 he said the song your all I need to get by- Mary J and method man. I literally played that song over and over again for like a year. I love that song. If it wasn't rap and didn't have some words inappropriate for a wedding I so would have used it.
