4 days to go and Im really BUMMED

I had a great day today, my last day of work. I missed 2 calls and find out that the first one the DJ called to say that the MC will not be at my wedding his dad died OMG thats horrible is my first thought then he didnt mention that they had a back up for him so I think I have one person doing double duty.
The next call is from my oldest dearest friend who just had open heart surgery in Decemeber calling me to tell me shes not coming to the wedding in 4 days. I completely understand but I am so totally bummed out. I figured as much but she kept calling to prep me for her NO. I miss her and hardly get to see her and esp after her surgery I really wanted to have her be a part of my wedding.

So Im sitting her bummed out lookin at a tray of baklava and I cant even muster the want to eat it.

Oh I'm sorry. I'm sure she wanted to see you too, but she has to take care of her health first. As I'm sure you'll understand. I'm sure she really wants to be there and can't wait to see pics of your wedding. It will be okay you'll see. I thought I needed an MC, but realized that I didn't the day of. I was worried the enitre time, that we would. On that day, one was enough.

I am sorry to hear you are bummed. I really don' think you will miss the MC and as far as your friend goes, at least she is on her way to recovery. She will be in your heart as you will be in hers, i am sure she is more bummed about it than you! your wedding will still be perfect!

I love my friend more to know shes doing whats best for her. As for the MC what does he do?? I know this guy had so much energy and I dont know if its going to have the same feel as what i had seen. I feel for him though its tough to lose a parent hes a young guy. And his cousin is coming to my wedding.

OH NO!!! to you... I'm sorry about your friend.... That's tough but you'll have to get together and show her pics/ videos and relive the day. About the DJ- good thing he called you now and not on Sat. morning. Maybe you can speak with him & feel reassured that he'll bring someone else or if he does it alone he's ok with that??

3 days- WOW!!

So sorry to heat about this... If my best friend couldn't make my wedding I would be very bummed, so I can understand how you are feeling.

I'm sure your friend wants to be there and will be in heart there with you...thankfully she made it through surgery and you can see her and share wedding memories with her after everything is done.

As for your MC>..so sad about his father...I think everything will work out for the best though!

awww im sorry to hear this news. Im sure everything will work out with the dj. Unfortunately there are somethings you cant control.

as for your friend, im sure she really wants to be there. Im sorry she cant be there for you.

Call the dj and check if they are putting someone else on. I'm sure they are since you paid for a DJ/MC package. Dont worry- ALL MCs have a lot of energy...too much sometimes...lol

As for your friend, I'm sorry she cant be there with you. Maybe you can have her over for a proof party or something. I know its not the same., obviously
