4 thoes doing DIY's

I'm using this rainy day to start embossing the paper I need for my invites and I was thinking...

Would anyone notice that these invites are handmade?

I know some of my family and friends all ready know I'm doing all the stationary myself, along with other items. I love doing it and it is saving us a ton of $$$, but I'm not sure if I care if my guests notice they were 'hand made with love'.

I personally think that homemade cards are more thoughtful than store bought ones, and if I received something I knew someone made it themselves I would have more feeling towards it.

Does it matter to you if your guests know you hand made your invites or other DIY projects?

It doesn't matter to me if my guests know if they are DIY. I am doing that too and the $$ that we save will be going toward great food and possible a chocolate fountain, so my guests should be greatful! LOL They will throw them out anyway, why spend $$$$ on something that goes in the trash?
