i got mine dyed... it wouldn't have been the end of the world if they weren't dyed... it's not like the difference was that noticveable, but the shoe place did it for free, so i figured why not?

My dress is off white but the skirt is organza, so it's shimmery sort of. The shoes I picked are white but match really well.

i HAD MINE DYED.....but I must suggest.....if you can find them....gold shoes are GORGEOUS with ivory. I couldn't find them.....I got a cheap-o pair to wear for outdoor photos and then wore the dyed/classy ones (from Peter Fox Shoes....they dye to perfection) for the ceremony and reception

I found ivory satin shoes on sale at JCREW! I had to run to where I got my dress and double check they were right. Dying is also a good option---better then leaving it stark white. They also have cute open toe!

I dyed mine to the Ivory color of my dress.

Re: 4 those of you who are wearing an ivory/off white dress
I found a pair already a similar color, made sure they would be returnable if they didn't work and so far, so good..don't go nutty, especially since under a lot of dresses, you can't even see your shoes! Good luck!

The 1st pair I bought were white ans I was going to have them dyed...but I bought a 2nd pair that Im going to wear instead and they are ivory and the color is just slighty off so Im going to just keep it as is.

Re: 4 those of you who are wearing an ivory/off white dress
I didn't worry about it too much. I found shoes that I liked that fit all my stringent requirements--and I had a lot of requirements--and I bought them in ivory. I don't care if they don't match exactly. What does it matter? They're all similar tones, no ones going to point at my shoes and gasp because they're slightly darker or lighter than my gown. Yes, it would look odd if they were white shoes, and vice versa, but I just couldn't get it up to care that much.
Re: 4 those of you who are wearing an ivory/off white dress
I bought the white shoes and when I get a swatch I will have them dyed...I would probably go nuts trying to find an exact match! Good luck!

I actually stumbled on mine at Target, I took them home thinking they probably wouldn't match but they do!! My dad says they look like they were made for my dress. If I had gotten satin I would have gotten them dyed.
