Future SIL trying to bully us into having her 4 year old who' spits' and her one year old at our reception. We decided no children and let her know. Now she is saying she is bringing them. My fiance is fishing in the middle of the ocean (no cell) and I'm really so upset! Should I wait for him or deal with her myself....uggh

Ughhh--I would wait for him and let him handle it. People can be so obnoxious.

we had kinda the same issue. Our 2 nieces and 1 nephew are our flower girls/ ring bearers, and my one FSIL was mad that they weren't invited to the reception and made a stink about it. Have your FH take care of it b/c if he says something stupid to her, she has to forgive him. If you say something stupid (and by stupid, Im justy tal;king about random crap that comes out of my mouth when I am angry or frustrated), it could damage your relationship forever.

Hang in there! Just stick to your guns, or else you will have even more drama of other people wanting to know whey they couldn't bring their kids!

I am late on this, but wait! It would be less drama if he deals with her. You'd come off as a 'bridezilla'...and that would not help you at all with this weddding stuff.Let him deal with her crap! You have enough to worry about with the wedding planning.

as everyone has said, let him deal with it. his family will handle that better. they'll give you the 'who are you to call the shots' mumbo jumbo.

i agree iwth everyone else ... i had a similar issue, let DH handle it and was STILL blamed for it all (i was even un-friended on FB by SIL )

regardless, just make sure your FH doesn't give into his sis.

stand your ground and stand by your FH and make sure he doesnt give into it. But make sure he doesnt yell at her and just calmly explain that she cant have the kids at the wedding.
