No april fools here!!! I have 5 months until my wedding and so much to do!!! Now only if I could get my mom to either help plan or step aside. I wait for her and than I finally go with fh and do stuff and she gets mad. She says this is her moment and I'm taking it away from her. You snooze you lose!

I need a pause button! I can't believe how quickly the big day is coming!!
As far as mom, I've learned to give her enough to wet her palate and then take care of everything else on your own. I've dragged mom to a few VERY VERY VERY LONG boring appointments, and now when I ask if she wants to come along she either come in her own car and show up for five minutes or she won't come at all. She's been to enough to have stuff to tell her friends about, but she's not in my face at every appointment.

And don't worry, you will get everything done. It comes quick but just make sure to have list and you'll be fine! Enjoy it!!

I only have the place, photography, dj, officiant, and my dress.
I need to get girls dress (picked but not ordered yet), flowers, centerpieces, tuxs, limos, invitations, hair and make-up lady, place cards, menus, garter, favors, gifts for bridal party/parents, grooms gift/cake, honeymoon.
Is there anything else I'm missing? The to do list is much larger then the done list!!!

We got engaged in October, booked our Rh end of November and are getting married end of May.... 6 months to plan!!! Don't worry, you will get everything done. Your list on the other post seems pretty on point. For each catergory just write everything needed to be done and just cross them off one thing at a time. It's definitely overwhelming at times but you'll be fine!! It will all come together in time!!!
We just got our tuxes today! less than 2 months before the wedding. I am soooooooooo glad that check is finally off my list lol
