5 months to go!!!
Most of the big things are done. Still have to order invites, although I know which one I am getting, hire limo (just for me to get from home to wedding),get favors(again I know what I am getting, but since it is a food product waiting til closer to the date to order). I keep waiting for that feeling of being overwhelmed to hit, but so far I am good. I had my first wedding nightmare last week so I guess it is starting to seem more real. Now if I could just get my fiance to ask his friend to be best man..all would be well. He hasn't asked him yet and it is making me crazy. At this rate he won't have one. Just thought I would share some thoughts as my day draws near.

5 DAYS to go!!!
Don't worry Wendy - that overwhelmed feeling will show up at some point! It hit me a couple of weeks ago but has eased up a bit and I'm starting to feel that it will all come together without too much stress.

That discribes it pretty accurately! It complicates matters that I'm driving in from Boston, so I have to make sure I pack everything! What's left is stuff like: Write the names and tables on the seating cards and box up in alphabetical order. Finish sewing a small purse I made for myself. Call for manicure appointments for myself and bridesmaids. Finish the Must Have photo list and review the DJ list Wrap attendant's gifts and write thank you notes to them. Assemble 'Emergency' kit for wedding dat - asprin, extra stockings, clear nail polish, etc, etc. etc. Make copies of vendor insurance forms. Review and finalize packing list - to make sure I don't forget anything. Pick up dress tonight. It's starting to fall into place - the only one I worry about is how long it will take to fill in the seating cards and that the packing will take longer than I think. I need to get partly organized for the honeymoon too, because we'll get back from LI on Sunday night, and leave from Boston for the honeymoon Monday AM - so I need to at least be partly packed! Keep plugging away and make lists! I'm finding that helps a lot. I have the To-Do list and separate lists of what has to be packed for the reception, the goodie bags, the wedding attire, misc. stuff and so on. Good Luck!
