one bridesmaid just backed out.... nice that shes waited this long for jewelry to have been made and gift been bought.... made a bunch of lame excuses too, why did she say yes in the first place last Feb when I asked her....

That stinks. My only advice is don't spend time getting bent out of shape over it. In the grand scheme of things, it's her loss and your wedding day is so much bigger than that.

now we are uneven (which isnt big deal, just disappointed) and i think one other girl may back out soon too.... she still hasnt gotten dress or made any other arrangements

she said everything too expensive. A few months ago I, A: i offered to split cost with dress which would have cost her $60 B: my mom offered for her to stay in my mom's hotel room costing her 'nothing' C: i found her roundtrip airfare for less than $200 from WIS D: in the very beginning i told all the girls i understood how financially tough it could be to be in a wedding, and that i understood if they did not accept.... shes been telling me for 7 months that 'no no, its good, ill be there, i wouldnt miss it'

I know how you feel, I'm getting married on March 29th and had a BM back out just two days ago. In an e-mail no less ! I am really upset about it. I was her MOH at her wedding and it really meant alot to have her in my wedding party. She said going to work and school full time she had no 'time' for my wedding. A month ago, she told me that her husband was angry that we didn't include him in our wedding party. My FH isn't friends with him so why would he be in it ? She said that becuase she was married no one else should walk down the aisle with her. I told her I would ask my FH. FH said NO WAY and she was really upset by that. Her husband was upset too. Now , she tells me she has no time to be in my wedding . Now my wedding party is uneven too... but the worst part was I really considered her to be one of my best friends.

I'm sorry this happened... Better now- 5 months- than right before the wedding. I agree that she should have said something sooner. Don't let this impact your day No one will even notice the uneven # of the BP.

haha aww thanks..... im giving her velvet caplet to my mom and the pearl and ruby bracelet, **** i already paid for the bouquets..... i wonder if they will refund one
