5 WEEKS CAN I GET MY NAILS DONE

I hve silk wraps on my nails should I go to the salon to get them done or should I just soak them off?

I'm pretty sure you can get them done as long as the nail place is very well ventilated

I hate to be the nay-sayer here but in your first trimester is when all the vital organs and neural tissue is doing most of it's forming. I've never had silk wraps but I'm pretty sure they use some harsh chemicals. Please check with your OB before doing it just to be safe.

I stopped getting my nails done as soon as I found out I was pregnant. They don't really want you to be around all those chemicals in your first trimester.
Just to be safe, I let mine go and then just picked the acrylics off myself.

Gotta tell ya. I stopped doing wraps and stuff back then. I just got regular manicures. Those wraps use a lot of chemicals.

I would also just let them grow off (the nail wont get as week as when it does whenthey soak and pull them off ) and then just get a nice manicure after your 1st trimester.

Not sure because I'm not, nor have ever been...but I would just take extra caution in doing nails and hair...maybe lay off the wraps for a while, just get regular manicures...as for hair, no dying...

my dr. told me that you cant have wraps till 20 weeks but I am not putting them back b/c of all the glue/chemicals
you do not have to soak them off though b/c thats chemicals too, they said to stop going for fill ins and let them fall off so that is what I did
