$500 for invitations??? Anyone make their own?

I'm going to make my own. Any suggestions on what programs from Staples or somewhere like that?

I saw really pretty ones in the wedding aisle at AC Moore on Hempstead Tpk in Bethpage. They were paper with flowers in it (hard to explain) with a velum overlay to print the words on.

That is close to my house. Do you know approximately how much they were? Is it a box that you take home and print up yourself?

i made my own... got the kit form michales (but then ordered extra envelopes-- the inner lined/ outside) b/c i didnt like the ones they came with.

then i just created them in word... if you look at my album, they are there

my sister made her own for her eparty.. she got them from staples i believe.

FH's sister made ours and is making our wedding (and my sisters) also. you could try and find a graphic designer.. i'm not quite sure how you'd go about doing that and it probably would be over 500 anyway.. so i'll stop babbling
