I have been on craigslist searching for wedding stuff and recently came across a post to get a wedding for $5500 all inclusive. Has anyone called or used this person/place claiming to offer this package? I know it sounds to good to be true but as a budget bride i am willing to atleast do some reserach before i write anything off.
Thanks

Re: $5500 all inclusive wedding
i highly doubt someone offering $5500 all inclusive on craigslist is going to be quality, let alone a real business... unless the event is for like 15 people and your not doing anything spectacular for menu..
Im leary about anything like that, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is!

I think a few venues have package deals. Try the Meditterean Manor and Thatched Cottage. I'm sure there are a few more out there.

My Fiance called an he was told the package was for 130ppl and he has 3 locations, one in the city 2 on the island, the city is not water front. We never got further with it but it doesn't hurt to call and find out, but if u decided to see the places, take people with u (obviously) and I'm pretty sure they'll give you vendor names so you can find out online what their services are like.
Hey, it never hurts to try! whats the worst that can happen? (just don't give up the $$ until ur sure LOL)

I'm always skeptical of Craigslist - especially when it sound too good to be true.

Thats what i was thinking, i mean it doesnt hurt to find out me anf my Fiance were thinking of holding something in a resturant for about the same price, might as well atleast hear the person out. The guy said he would go with us to the locations and we could try the food before signing any contracts.

I understand that if something sounds to good to be true it probably is. In terms of craigslist it is understandable being skeptical, but i have posted many items without worry. I actually bought me wedding dress from a photographer who had a few and sold mine as part of a set of 3 (2 wedding gowns and a white cocktail dress) for the price of one dress in the store. Now I only need to sell the 2nd gown.
Anyone interested in Size 6 Ivory gown??? LOL

I'm booked at TC and they never mentioned an inclusive wedding package to me when we were talking about pricing. I got quoted per person. Granted, I didn't ask, but I'm not sure they offer that.

The first time I heard about Thatched Cottage, it was one of those ads that are loose inside the paper and they mentioned an all-inclusive. So I thought that was something they did offer. Maybe it was a special at the time, though!

They gotta cut corners somewhere to make it that price. I wouldn't even bother.
