57' Chevy Limosine??

Hi Girls-
Just wondering if anyone has spotted a '57 Chevy Limo available for rent on Long Island...my friend Alicia had one 2 years ago...rented from Sir Arthur's. When I called them, I was told they sold it. :( This was more disapointing to my Dad, lol. Anyways, hopefully someone will know where I can find one of these...

Excalibur Limosines (they have a few offices but I only know of the one in Brooklyn) has one.

We're getting the 57 cadillac in white from Royalty limos. I love it cause it's huge inside.

The excalibur one is Red and a true...i just assumed you wanted that for some reason.

Angie: We are also using the 57 caddy (the car, not the limo). Isn't it cool?

I love it as it is not the typical Rolls Royce and has a little more 'punch' to it. Once my FI saw it there was no going back and it's funny because before he saw the caddy he was 100% anti-antique car!

Same here. I went to Royalty to rent just 2 simple white limos and totally freaked when I saw the caddy with the red interior (my signature color).

The caddies are actually bigger inside than the Rolls and the Daimler! That's one of the reasons we liked it! It's HUGE!!! I have a ballgown so that was important to me.

Angie is right - the inside of that car is huge. I can easily get in there and stretch out my feet without touching the back of the front seat - and Im 5'8'

Actually - there are these little fold out seats back there so you can fit more than 2 people if you want. I may use that if I want my MOH to come with me in the Caddy. I will leave it up to her though.

As my dad is not the most calming person in teh world to be around, I might put him in the foldout seat and have my mom (she's in a ballgown too and there's even enough room for that)) sit next to me. Alittle unconventional but I would probably be a whole lot calmer when i get to the church!

Wow and i am going with red for my colors, but the place that has red is in brroklyn right!

We actually know someone at Sals Limosines in commack who said he'd give us a good deal but i am sure he doesnt have this hmmmm

I have 14 in the bridal party how many does that limo hold?

The Chevy Limo from Excalibur (not sure if they still have this but I know they did have it for a long time) will not hold 14 comfortably. I would say 10 tops.
