yes! it's valid for 60 days. we went to the town of hempstead building in hempstead off of penninsula blvd, i was told that was the only place i was able to go. i don't know anything about suffolk though??
Does anyone know if I am getting married in Queens, do I have to get my license in Queens? Or can I go to Nassau?

My church in Babylon told us we had to go to a town hall in Suffolk County so you might have to go in Queens.

Thanks, I'll probably go to that one...is it the one on S. Franklin Avenue off of Peninsula? near the car dealerships?

Ladies, you can go anywhere within the STATE of NY to get your marriage license. Does not matter which county you live in, nor can the Church tell you where to go. You need to get it no earlier than 60 days before your wedding, but no later than 24 hours prior.
My DH and I live in Queens, but we got our license at Smithtown Town Hall just because we were visiting our florist that day.

Yes you can, I live in Queens and I'm planning on going in Nassau also.
