last night, the school offered the 'talk' for moms and daughters. well, today, a couple of my girls had me in stitches b/c they wanted to talk about the wonders of tampons and liners i was ready to DIE!!! but laughing my a$$ off at the same time. their poor moms!

i was mortified!! they were like 'oh, i will never use tampons! women are crazy to use them' and i'm like 'girls, gotta go get the class. bye!'

Thats too funny
One of my 6th graders announced to the class that her 'Red Aunt' was visiting...why she did this i dont know, the boys were like HUH??? as was I for a minute because i didnt realize that was what the girls were calling it now a days... LOL kids can be too funny...

so what do i do? keep a stash on hand just in case something happens??? i remember being that age and praying i didn't get it in school b/c i had a male teacher and couldn't imagine asking him for a pad!

the school nurse is like 80. sweet, but she's realllllllly up there! and lately, one of my girls, who i love, has been carrying around a purse EVERYWHERE!

You can definitely keep a small supply in the room or ask the nurse for some, but you have to figure out how you would give that to them discreetly.

the nurse keeps a supply but apparently 'they are too big' sooo I keep some in my room and the girls ask me ... they do start carrying around purses in about mid 6th from what i notice
BOY O BOY when they have it is it a big deal! They go the bathroom every class...i know this because they tell me, it is kind of funny
