6 days to go and I still haven't gotten a CARDBOX!

Girlies,

I know that I can find a place that rents them somewhere. Please help! My florist doesn't have any and I'm desperate. I'll pay whatever at this point

I'm looking for something big that will hold about 130 envelopes. I remember seeing a website that rents out those stacked round gift box cardboxes....anyone know what I'm talking about?

They have them at Michaels, AC Moore, Party City. I think Target & Wal-Mart have them too.

I haven't gotten one either. I'm having a lot fewer guests, and I know quite a few are giving presents, not checks--although I'd rather have checks, but you can't ask, right? My FH and I decided we'd just collect the cards as people gave them to us, and then will have somene put them in a safe place, like in the locked bridal suite. As long as it's locked. Or just in my dad's or brother's pockets. Hmmm. A card box just seems like a big temptation sitting there.

Thanks. I've checked these but they're all the same freaking treasure chest that's too small for 130 envelopes. I really want to rent a tall carbox that'll fit all of the envelopes....I know there's a site out there that rents them! Where the heck is it!?!?!?

We have a cardboxbut its a wooden planter in the shape of a watering can. The sucker is huge and HEAVY-have to wrap both arms around it to pick it up so its mildly obnoxious BUT no one will be able to sneak the sucker out without someone seeing!

Try AC Moore or Michaels. They have the basic cardboard ones. Or you can buy three colored boxes-like photoboxes but square or round ones and decorate them to make them look like a wedding cake. Cut a slit in the top of the middle or top one and you're good to go.

renate's in lindenhurst has something you can rent. it's like a dress form and you can fit a whole bunch of envelopes in it!

What about a pretty bird cage? They have them at Bridal Elegence in Dix Hills. I think they have boxes too, but the cage fits more envelopes

I suggest going to michael's or another craft store. Maybe you can purchase 2 regualr sized ones & place them in 2 different places at your RH.

Have you tried AC Moore? I was just there and they had some really nice ones.
Or you could go to Home Goods and get a birdcage and decorate it with some simple flowers and ivy.

Not sure where you live but I believe you can rent those from Sandy's Party Supply/Balloon Brothers in Franklin Square. I believe my friend rented the bird cage for her wedding from them and she had 260 people at her wedding. Here's the store info if you want to call and ask:

Have you tried all the florists in the brighton beach area? I know the floritst on brighton 6th has wedding supplies and this girl who had her wedding at national borrowed their wedding card box.

Hopefully youll find one soon. I ordered mine off of ebay a while ago, and it still hasnt came in either since its custom made, so hopefully ill get it before my wedding!
