OMG...that happened to my mom on the train YEARS ago...my dad used to pick her up and she said she would call when she got into the station if she took an earlier train...
well she never called so my dad went to pick her up at the normal time 6ish...
she got off a train that left Penn at NOON...granted that was the 60's and diesel trains...

Took me 30 minutes to do my 7 minute commute. My mother 2 hours go from Hauppauge to Patchogue. So ride but that is the safest way

WOW!!!!!! Karen that is awful! I feel so bad for anyone who is out driving today. I just talked to my sister who works in Melville and it took her 3 1/2 hours to get from Melville to Mastic. I'm ready to go back to Florida!!

Well at least you are all home safe. It only took me 1 hour to get from port washington to Lynbrook...I left at 1:30. It took Danielle over 2 hours to get from Howard Beach to Bellmore.

Yeah I spoke to my uncle who was on the Throgs Neck who said he'll hbe lucky to get home by 12am.

It took me over two and a half hours to get from Hauppauge to Rockville Centre...and that was at 2 this afternoon. I can't imagine how long it would've taken me during rush hour. I hope everyone is safe!

I'm glad I'm not alone... 1 hour 45 minutes from Lindenhurst to Whitestone - reverse commute too! I left in daylight, got home in nighttime!

I guess my DH was a speed demon then...it only took him 5 hours to get home from Queens.

OMG! Please don't remind me about my dreadful long 4hr. drive home yesterday that usually takes me 45min.-1hr. UUGGGHH!!! I left work at 3:30 and didn't get home till 7:30!!
