I just got quoted $600 by an officiant!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this insanity, or is this a normal price?

We got married in a church and had a full mass and we were charged 400 for the ceremony and 200 for the music

pastor april was 475...from what other girls said on here, 600 isn't INSANE though. I know, can't believe these prices for a 30 min ceremony.

I paid 375 for Pastor April (didnt have a meeting with her pre-wedding to put ceremony together...did it through email). I'd be going to the courthouse quicker than I'd be paying $600 for JUST an officiant

600 for JUST an officiant that even said the venue is very close to where he lives. And NO meeting beforehand.

495 for Pastor April and that was with a meeting to write our vows, and editing over email
