FBIL bought her a necklace with a picture of her parents on it ..very touching ...i want to get her something from us that is nice but not a ton of money ....

Hmm- Hallmark always has nice little keepsake items. I can't think of anything specific- but they sell meaningful things.
If I thinks of anything will let you know.
