This stamp is so pretty! I am wondering why it is 'for use on nonmachinable greeting card envelopes'. Isn't a stamp a stamp? I'm going to go to the post office tomorrow and ask. Just wondering if anyone has used them! I love butterflies!!! I'm so happy I stumbled along this...I cannot standddd the fugs wedding cake/wedding ring cheese...it's just not my style!
i would assume the 'nonmachinable' thing is just because of the price - but you can prob use it anyhow. like you said, find out from the post office directly

Re: 64 cent butterfly stamp?? Has anyone used it
For me, its so not worth the $.20 more. I don't care if its a picture of a rock, why would I spend about $200+ more on something someones gonna throw out anyway?

The 'non machinable blah blah blah' part just means they designed these stamps specifically for square greeting cards/envelopes. Those cost more to send because they don't fit through the machine so they have to be post marked by hand. You can use them on any envelope. The USPS will love it if you spend .20 extra per envelope! They really are pretty. I'm thinking of using them for my save the dates.
