We have 7 weddings including ours between Aug this year and Sept next year!! Aaaaahhhghggh I can't believe it!

Aug, Dec(I'm a bridesmaid in that wedding) Feb (2 weeks before is in FL and FH is a groomsmen in that wedding) ours in March, Jun fri.and sat back to back and then Sept!!

Since we got engaged (dec. 2012) we have already been to four weddings (we were invited to 6, declined 2 of them). We have one this week, one july 4th, july 11th, july 19th, aug. 9th (his sister), sept 21 (i'm a bridesmaid) and oct. 31st.

July 4th weekend I have the wedding and then back to back showers. I have a shower on the 20th after the wedding (which is upstate) and the week before my FSILs wedding I have the bachelorette party for the wedding that I'm in.

And we already have 2 weddings next year.

We have 2 before our big day. One in Sept. and one in Oct.

That was me for years. We are THE. LAST. of our friends to get married. We just had a wedding on 5/31 and that's IT for us until ours. In the 12 years FH and I have been together we've been to 26 weddings between family, friends, co-workers, etc. It's insane. Now, it's the baby showers, lol. It seems I have one a month!

I feel your pain....5 weddings from this past April till October including mine. And 4 very close friends all had babies since September and a 5th is currently pregnant....so that also meant baby showers and christening's for each. It's all exciting stuff but with it all stuffed in such a short period of time it feels so rushed and you can't fully enjoy each. (Not to mention all the $$)

Yea, it's like the year of weddings this year. The past few years I've had like 5 a year, this year we have 6 (already went to 2). And one of those is FHs best man, who just got engaged like a month ago and is getting married 3 weeks after us. Too much!

Last year we went to 11 weddings, yup 11, and we weren't engaged so it was torture. That's including my brother's wedding and both FH and I are part of the bridal party for 3 of them. Along with 4 baby showers. Thankfully we only have two weddings this year June 1st and June 27. I started declining wedding invites, we would have went to about 5 this year and last year it would have been 17. Is this supposed to happen?? Lol
