7/11/09 brides

just wondering how many of you guys there really are.... when i was looking into places for our recepiion/ceremony i was told it was a popular day.

What colors are you gals using too just curious

we are doing ivory/champaign and navy blue

FH is in the Army and will be wearing his dress blues LOL i'm having such a hard time picking a dress that i won't be dying in in the middle of july and one that I really love.

i'm one

we're doing:
navy, butter yellow, and touches of spring green
or
spring green, butter yellow, and touches of pink

the dress is a concern of mine too, especially since we're having the ceremony on the beach. that's why i plan to look for organza as opposed to satin or taffeta.

I was a 7/11/09 bride but I changed the date. Either way I was still going to wear a satin gown because I loved it. I'm willing to suffer in the heat for a dress I love!

Same with me! I got chiffon for my BMs (or we are pretty solid on that decision) but for me... I'm all about the satin!

I am 7-11-09 but have not even begun to think about bridesmaid dresses or colors, what if my tastes change in the next year and a half? So I am waiting a few more months!

I'm trying to figure mine out... I really want navy and a deep shade of red - but everyone is saying it is going to look americana... so I'm thinking of throwing in a light blue or something to throw off the whole american flag thing

my fh wanted to do red roses but since he's already going to be in his dress blues and we are doing champaign i don't want the whole red white and blue thing

Yea --- that's my big fear - I was wondering what blue hydrangea and smaller red roses would look like... or have a medium blue sash with a navy dress and then just straight up red roses... we really want the blue/red color scheme - 1) it's our two favorite colors combined 2) we are huge giants fans and got engaged right after the super bowl

Ok... I am so glad I know how to look for info I need... I was in a panic ever since I saw your post because my church is St. Joe's too and our deacon has yet to call us back... even though they assured my father we were penciled in back in feb. ---- so then I was like... oh dear, maybe they gave the church away! But your church is in kings park, and mine is in babylon... phewwww!

LOL you could always do a red or blue wedding dress

I've seen a really pretty deep red one once

I'm a 7-11 bride too!
Nothing is set in stone yet, but I am pretty sure my dress will be all lace, and my BMs will wear red. I think Im doing a red, pink, and gold color scheme.

I'm a 7/11/09 BRIDE!!! Thinking of a navy or deep royal blue with bright deep pink/fuschia flowers. Having a tough time finding pics of my colors though.
