Okay, so I was watching my Monday night guilty pleasure - 7th heaven - and I could not help but noticed that the family has a million NON-FAMILY members actually living in the house- and all with their own rooms! I know the house is owned by the church, as they love to mention, but come on - its not a hotel. And all of the 'guests' suffer from such teen angst. they all spend the entire show saying 'I don't want to talk about it'. And in last night's episode, the guests even had their parents mooching off the camdens. and the parents merrily go along kissing and hugging.
Just had to vent :)

I agree and that is one reason why I still like this show.

I was kinda disappointed with the last season but I still like the show. I love the family setting and how they incorparate real life issues that people can relate to.
I never got why Martin started living with them, I know his dad is in Iraq, but who was he with before the Camdens. And what happened to Robbie (I think that was his name - Mary and Lucy's old boyfriend)

why are you shocked that it's not going off the air?
because the general population likes to see dead bodies, and people subjecting themselves to inhumane tasks to obtain financial gain?

Martin was living with his aunt before the Camdens, but she was moving to NYC to sell socks (?!). So instead of uprooting him again he stayed with the Camdens. I agree with the rooms though, how many bedrooms are there in that house!?

not quite sure what you are saying, all i was saying was that i am surprised they haven't run out of storylines by now.

I just think its very humorous because here are the parents all holy and all - sitting in church as a family - and all the kids can think about is kissing and sex.
Altogether they all do seem to get married and pregnant at a young age.
I just pitty that poor dog happy who, through all the angst, never gets any attention. someone hug him please :)

I know, only Simon ever really loved him, and he's away now, and he comes back & is just interested in his ex. oh well.
As for the rooms, when all the kids lived there, they didn't have enough space when the twins were born, so they finshed the attic & built the garage apartment. Then all the kids moved out. So, now, instead of sam & david gettign there own rooms , all the neighbors live there.
It was weird when Robbie left. He just wasn't there & in pasing someone said, 'now that Robbie moved back to Florida with his mom. . .'

BTW, I haven't watched since Mary was dating some old pilot guy. And then I hear the ads for last night's episode & it says Mary has her baby ... so wondering who is the father and when did she get married?

Re: 7th heaven vent
That was another 'kooky' storyline last night - Mary moved to NY, met this guy named carlos (?) and the family never heard from her. her husband is on the show quite often. They make him out to be a real NY city moron - fake accent and all.
Mary gave birth last night but was adamant on not having her parents there or anyone there for that matter. Actually, it was pretty ugly of her. The nurse kept saying 'Mary wants everyone to go home'. Ofcourse the parents had to fly there. If I were them I would have said 'screw you Mary, we don't care to be there'. :)
Drama on the WB :)

She gets a movie or 2 under her belt and for whatever reason won't do a cameo and the writer's make her out to be a b*tch.

No, but I'm sorry I agree with the others, the show has gotten a little ridiculous. It's not horrible but sometimes it's too sweet.
And for the record I don't watch blood and gore and shows where people do outrageous things just for money (OK so I watched the one where the girl wanted to trick her family into thinking she was marrying a slob), but 7th Heaven can get a bit too mushy happy lovely dovey too.

Was anyone else disturbed by the fact that Lucy is now pregnant? She's freaking 20 years old, married and pregnant. Her husband's damn hot though!
