I have to confess, I wasn't really paying attention this week. I was doing work and glancing at the TV from time to time so this recap will be weak at best.
So blah blah blah plot contrivance cakes... There's some nattering about Annie's dead mom (from like a frajillion years ago) and respecting motherhood or some such nonsense.
Lucy hags her way in and shows off the alien-stripper-baby and sux up to Annie... Hag, why don't you and Cyborg move out! And Cyborg, isn't that a little effed up that the baby is practically a toddler and your family hasn't even seen her?
Ruthie and GreatLash break up in the BEST BREAKUP SCENE EVER! Ruthie: I can't believe I missed my grandmother's birthday dinner for this! GreatLash: You never mentioned your grandmother. Ruthie: That's because she's dead!
I just about died myself at that line!
And then I just tuned out the rest of the episode so all I know is that they're still talking about Mary and using her as a love interest for the brother of a satellite character even though she's never coming back! And that, apparently, Bo Derek and Melissa Gilbert are really hard up for cash. No, really.
Oh, wait! Didn't Ruthie disobey Annie? Shouldn't she be on the next train to Buffalo???
And it's a little sad that a character who died forever ago got a better birthday party than SamVid did.

Re: 7th Heaven: where celebrities go to die?
I thought Kevin (aka Cyborg) bought them a house. What happened to it? Yesterday they kept mentioning that they need to find a place to live.

either they gave it back, or the people decided not to sell or something.
