OK...So, in dress shopping, did you end up picking a dress like you'd always dreamed you'd wear or is it completely different?

The dress I picked is pretty similar to anything I'd had in my head. I knew more what I didn't want, but it was still so hard. I go back and forth on the dress I picked almost everyday

mine is different than what i expected. I thought i would get this huge ballgown with lots of beading everywhere and it turns out i looked better in a-lines, my dress is a-line and has beading only on the bodice and hem

Mine is pretty much what I always thought I'd have...except my dress is Ivory...definitely never thought I'd have an Ivory dress!

if i had to think about dresses that i dreamed about as a little girl they probably would alot poofier and like a ballgown.

but when i actually got engaged and started thinking about dresses i wanted a dress with lace and more form fiting. The dress that I got has all the lace and beading but is more a-line than form fitting...so its very close to what i pictured!

yes I dreamed of a full a line skirt with a train and just pretty and that's what I got....

mine is def different from what i thought i would buy...my dress is form fitted through the hips and i never thought i would get a dress like that because im very hippy

i always wanted a big poofy dress. so yes i did pick a big poofy dress, however, never in a million years did i think i would pick something with pick-ups. i also always said i would wear white but went with ivory instead.

I actually never thought I'd buy a strapless dress, but I did and I love love love it!!!

I'm going back today actually to look at 1 of the dresses l liked for the 2nd time.

completely different....when i saw the dress on the hanger, I thought ok this is nice but not beautiful....well when i put it on, it was like it was made for me, i love it!

I didnt know what i wanted. I knew exactly what i didnt tho. I didnt want beading, bling, puffiness or something over the top. I wanted something simple and elegant.
I ended up with a a line dress that looks puffier because of all the pick ups and a big train which I never believed I would ever do

Not really. I always knew I wanted a princess style ballgown......My dress is pretty much on par with what I had always pictured. Big, white, poofy, and LOTS of detail

HOWEVER....i never imagined it would have been as perfect and beautiful as it is......

it has so many unique and different elements to it all wrapped up together to create perfectness for me!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine is what I expected it to be! I wanted a lace dress that showed my body, not a huge ballgown, and that is what I plan on getting.
