Ok guys and gals...my 80s birthday party is fast approaching and I need ideas on invites.... I was hoping to come up with some utterly CHEESY 80s song or movie lyric to put on the invite. Or maybe just a whole bunch of 80s icons to have on there. PLEASE post ideas.......... (for example, my girlfriend suggested HOLIDAY by Madonna lyrics...)

Re: 80sParty Invite Ideas Needed
hmmm....
well you could start with flourescent colored paper, since that was big in the 80's
are you turning a special age? can that be incorporated?
hmmm....I'll keep thinking! Hope these links help!
'Everybody Have Fun tonight - Everybody Wang Chung Tonight - at XXXX's 80's Themed B-day Party!'
OK kinda cheezy but only thing I could think of. I like the Holiday lyrics idea too.
80's things to have on the invitation: picture of rubic's cube picture of Ronald Regan picture of Madonna from the 80's pics of Menudo/New Edition/NKOTB/Duran Duran
If I think of more I'll add.
