So my engagement pic from my photographer came as an 8x8.. of course everywhere you go all the frames are 8x10... 8x8 is an odd size... I did find a clear glass frame that is held by four silver clips on each side and it then placed on an easel. It looked really cute but not very steady or sturdy. My son touched the frame and it tipped over and broke Does anyone know where to get decent priced 8x8 size picture frames?

Try walmart....they do have a lot to choose from, maybe you'll find something that can work for you.

Is your photographer patken? lol, I had the same problem. I found a really nice frame for our engagement pic at Target - there is only one like that. Also, I have seen a lot of artwork (relatively inexpensive) in square frames that you can easily take the art out of at Bed Bath and Beyond. For about a year, I have had my eye looking for square frames because even the wedding pics they give you are square. I think it is a ploy to buy the frames from them! HTH...

Ha! Yes Patken -- and I told FH they give you those odd sizes so you can buy custom frames from them! haha.. thank you for the info..i didn't think to look for artwork frames...

Same problem...Patken! Michaels has one style frame for ~$10 (I think it was on sale last week). It's simple and plain. They had it in either black or a dark brown (wood). My mom picked one up for me but, I haven't decided if I want something different, not as plain. They only had a few, so I figured it was better than nothing

Ha....I just did my epics at Patken last week! I love the way they came out! We ended up buying like 5 pics! They are all 8x8 and we have one 5X10.
I'm looking for frames too! Were they expensive at Paten? I have to go pick up my STD's tomorrow, so I was going to price them there.

we have a bunch of album frames, not sure if they are 8x8 (they are on the wall) but i think they might be..... in that case, you could look at urban outfitters or some other places (we went to a discount store and got more of them there)
Edit: sorry, i googled adn they are 12' square

I found some silver ones at Target - they had a matte in them to put a 4x4 picture in them, but take out the matte and you can put a regular 8x8 picture in them and they were on sale for less than $10. So check Target periodically to see if you find some there.
