we went to the city for an afternoon and he was going to propose there but didn't feel it was right. So we wound up going home and going to dinner. Then when we finally went home he decided he wasn't tired and drove to a very sentimental spot for both of us and after a long and very romantic conversation he popped the question!!

I knew the proposal was coming soon being that we were dating so long, but I had NO idea when and he COMPLETELY took me off guard - I was convinced he was going to propose two weeks later!!
