I'm sure more than you... lol.
Here's my list of things that need to be done:
*Purchase accessories - Cake serving set, toasting flutes, ring pillow, departure accessories, money bag/box.
*Purchase remaining accessories - jewelry, hair accessories, stockings, undergarments & reception slippers.
*Groom's accessories - socks, shoes, & undergarments.
*BM accessories - stockings, jewelry, hair pieces.
*Prepare Day-Of Timeline and give a copy to each vendor along with copies of must-take photos, song selections, pickup/drop-off locations, etc.
*Purchase attendant gifts.
*Send out R.D. invitations.
*Setup appt with DJ - song selections, special announcements & giveaways.
*Setup appt with Photo - review pics to take, and select park.
*Schedule hair & makeup trials.
*Schedule nail & hair removal appt.
*Start breaking in wedding shoes.
*Make sure something old, new, borrowed, blue.
*Attend Bridal Shower.
*Write thank you notes for bridal shower gifts.
*Call guests who haven't RSVP'd.
*Get marriage license.
*Shop/pack for honeymoon.
*Confirm all final payments schedule, pickup times, head count, etc with all vendors.
*Confirm honeymoon travel arrangements. *Create list of vendor phone #s, in case of an emergency.
*Prepare Day-Of emergency kit – Tylenol, band-aids, candy/gum, pads, pepto-bismol, powder, lotion, extra stockings, hair (spray, barrette, pins, scrunchy), Kleenex, makeup, perfume, clear nail polish, thread kit, slippers, safety pins, tape, direction cards, vendor phone #s, small flashlight, spare change, bottled water.
*Create a ceremony 'box' to gather your ceremony accessories (marriage license, cylinders, ring pillow, baskets, guestbook), and assign someone to transport.
*Create a reception 'box' to gather your reception accessories (guestbook, toasting flutes, cake serving set, etc), and assign someone to transport.
*Personal care - tanning, waxing, teeth bleaching, etc.
*Assign duties to people – including transporting items to/from locations, speaking to vendors, etc.
*Place tips in separate labeled envelopes (assign distributor).
*Put aside a hange of clothes for after the reception.
*Gather all Church documents, Passport & tickets/itinerary.
Alot huh? lol. What do you have left?
