92.7 LIR nutz ...

does anyone happen to have the list of all the 'Screamers/Screechers of the Week' they had listed on the old website?

I know I copied & pasted into a file once but I can't find it ... would be eternally grateful!!

WHY WHY WHY DID THEY MAKE LIR A SPANISH STATION????????????? it was without a doubt my favorite radio station and i miss it!

I miss it too.... I thought maybe someone was posting to say they were bringing it back....

I am still sooooooooo POed about that. They changed formats on my wedding day...... I feel cursed or something.

If you can get it, they still have the bone (98.5) and now I saw the Box (107.1).......and 94.3 has been getting a little better.........

First they close down Malibu, then we lose LIR........ what next?????

Spanish stations keep taking over my favorite stations!!!!
First 107.1, the ONLY country station left in NY!!!!!
Then 92.7!!! The only other station i listened to!!!

I've switched over to 90.7 WFUV on weekdays. You hear a lot of obscure music that none of the other stations play (Jonatha Brooke, Indigo Girls, Patty Griffin).

Univision offered TMO (LIR's parent company) a LOT of money for the transmitter.

It sucks, I agree.

WHY is it always about money??? i'm queen of the world and i want lir back!!! jeez, english muffin kept me company on my drives to school at night...

Ok, as far as I'm concerned the only good reason to say 'adios' to WLIR was to get rid of the english muffin!!! Sorry - I could not stand her!!!!!!!!!!
