OK, so I'm getting ready to order my invitations. For those that had a B list, did you have a second set of response cards printed with a later response date? It's an extra expense, but I feel like I have to do it. I can't give someone an invite with a response date that has already passed or one that is a week away. What did you do??

I order 25 response cards with the later response date on them. I ordered my invites online, so it wasn't expensive at all. The additional response cards were an extra $30.00.

I just kept the same response date. I stopped caring if people thought they were on the B list. I was glad I could invite them after all.....

I kept all of my invites with the same response date. I knew our B list was small (4 couples). By about 2 weeks (out of 6) after the invites were mailed we knew we could mail to the B list. It worked out for us!

I had all of my response cards printed the same but mailed my invites to the A list early. A lot of people who could not make it told me days after they received my invite so that I had more than enough time to send the same invites to my B list. If you get it at a reasonable price, I would recommend priniting some with an extended response date though.
