A bad Experience

I think I may have posted 1 message in the 9 months I have been planning my wedding. I do enjoy reading all the helpful tips from all you fellow brides but I could not resist and actually felt obligated to share yesterday''''s experience. My finace , myself along with my parents went looking for Tuxedos yesterday. We went to TOWN AND COUNTRY IN EAST MEADOW. When we walked into the store there was couple returning items. The guy who runs the store was really rude and didn''''t not seem interested in answering any of our questions. We asked him a few things he answered but with a strong attitude. We then left. When we got to our car in the parking lot, the couple that was in the store when we arrived was waiting for us. He told us that when we entered the store the mumbed under his breath to him : 'These people are fuc..ing idiots' I mean literally all we did was walk into the store. This guy is crazy. The guy who was waiting for us went on to tell us that he messed up the grooms tuxedo and that he forgot his shoes. I strongly recommend not going here. We wound up going to Oceanside Tuxedos in Oceanside. We worked with the Owner Ken, who was an absolute pleasure. Good luck to everyone.

hmmmm....we are using T& C - Us, too!

We had very good experiences at Town & Country in Wantagh. It's a shame that the salesperson was an idiot, I would have taken my business somewhere else, too, if I had that experience! Good luck! :)

A bad Experience?????

I did use T&C for my wedding and they were more than helpful. I grew up in Levittown and now live in NY and they completely understood the situation. I had a great experience and I am not saying that 'everyone' does. Ijust wanted to let it be known. 3-31-01
