a bit a jealousy

Hi, just was wondering if anyone besides myself has encountered that one green eyed friend!

I have a 'friend' that is just being so catty about my whole engagement!

We got engaged and I am so happy and was very excited to share it with my friends and colleagues at work- Everyone was so happy and sent compliment after compliment

This girl however responds I heard the ring was nice but def not my style *** my engagement and impending wedding doesnt warrant her approval

I was just wondering if anyone else has a gree eyes monster lurking!

don't worry ...some people are just like that ...they can't help themselves...worst is one of my MOH is like that...she even has an opinion on the fact that me and my FH like to stay home and watch movies instead drink every weekend...it's just their nature...she can only be happy for you in her own way...try not to run her over with your car lol

Sad part is we were extremely close before I got engaged I guess its because she has been pestering amd pushing for her bf to propose and I unexpectantly got enaged IDK thanks for reading my VENT!

yep same as me...me and my MOH had a falling out cause she is a hater....dont let that ish get to you!

First off, as much as it ***** that she is being like this, do not let it get to you... she is young and bitter. She has been asking for a ring forever and a day and will be waiting just as long if she keeps up with that... Jealousy is an evil thing and we both have had first hand experience with it... but ur a better person than that to let it get you down! Be happy and proud of that AMAZING rock you have on ur finger... God knows u deserve it

I am so happy for you and Juan and i am so exciting to be sitting a few feet away from you and help you plan ur wedding... it is so much fun planning someone elses wedding... less stressful!!!

Man, I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. I know someone who say my ring and she's jealous that we are getting married before her and her Fiance. She saw my ring and she looks at it and goes 'well, I am glad my ring in a solitaire because I can wear it with a wedding band.' My answer to that was 'well, you know, I can't help it that it's so big that I have to get a HUGE wedding band to wear alone and I get to right hand this one. I'll get another fabulous peice of jewelery!' I always feed an obnoxious comment back. All I can say is F the b*tches!

OMG sorry to hear. Girls can be really catty!!! My good friend actually told me she was annoyed I got engaged before her since she was dating her BF longer (um is it a competition in junior high???) and that meant I would potentially get married before her? I mean who cares!

I try to think about the people that are really happy for me!!!

Im def happy for everyone I have had my share of heartbreaks and to be engaged to the one man i want to wake up next too for the rest of my life to me is an incredible feeling!

If i were to have a 0 cts engagement ring and a cigar ring band I would equally love it Im engaged to him not to all the things my new life offers i just would like for her to once say HEY hows the planning going instead of me bringing it up

she is truly annoyed im having a destination wedding and her bf talks of city hall come on seriously just let me smile because noone is paying for anything besides he & i and if i wasnt to show up riding a camel its my f'ing business

n ps ANG I TOTALLY LOVE HAVING U

I think we all have a friend like that. There are 5 of us in my circle of girlfriends. 2 of us got engaged in a relatively short span. There's one girl who is totally bitter. When we were talking about dresses and flowers, we got a very snide 'you know, some people here hate talking about wedding stuff.'

So, I think there are always going to be people who let their jealousy of you show. But, don't let it ruin your day or this special time.
