A Blast From The Past!!!!!

Just wanted to share!! It's been a year or so, since I connected with a 'Cousin', I never knew, living in Iowa. Our Great Grandfathers were Brothers. After my Grandmother passed away I received all her special mementoes including clippings etc. (I'm definitely her namesake in the 'saving' clippings, etc.)!!!!!! I had a clipping of my Cousin's Father, and it mentioned his children by name, and where they lived. So, I Googled his Son, got his phone number, called and left a message, he called me back, then his Sis, called me back, and we've been friends ever since!!!!! Sooooo........ we've been sharing all our collective family history, and today, she sent me two letters, that my Grandmother had sent to her Mother, in1986 and 1988. Great to read what was going on at the time, even what my Mom was doing then, and sadly, Grandmother spoke of those who along with her are now deceased!!!!! My Cousin also plans to send me a picture of my Great Great Grandfather!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wowie bazowie!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!! Mary
