A Bridesmaid Dress Delima

Hi Ladies-

I need some advice. A couple of months back I went with my MOH ( sister ) a one of my bridesmaids (FSIL) to look at dresses for the bridesmaids and my FSIL picked out a dress that she liked because she like the cut on the dress. She feels that a A line cut suits her figure better and that is fine I totally understand that. My MOH is wearing a different dress from the same designer that is little more form fitting and stylish.

So my dilemma is I don't like the dress she picked out and it is not my taste at all. So I decided that maybe me and my MOH should go back to bridal salon to pick out another dress for the bridesmaids that I like better. How bad is that? Do you think that I should tell her fist or just pick out another dress in a A -line cut that I feel more comfortable about?

Thanks

Its your wedding you need to be happy with all the choices even though its not you who is wearing the dress still. Why not see what the other BM's say about that dress and if majority doens't like them then I would go and change them. Or you can g o back with her and pick out like 2 other dresses and have the other bridesmaid choose which one they like best.

I think you really need to see the dress ON the girl. I mean, if you pick out a form fitting dress for someone that aline fits better, she's not going to look good not matter how nice the actual dress it.

Not only will she not look good, but she won't FEEL good either, which I think is wrong.

Bottom line is that a good Fitting dress will always make your BP (and YOU) look better. All of your girls should be present and should try on the dresses together, so you can get a look at the big picture. JMO!

ETA my girls run the gamut in body shape, and as long as the dresses coordinate, they are wearing the style that fits their bodies best.
