A case of 'Bride Brain'

I have a laptop at work and the screen was getting darker this afternoon. Then I get a popup message that my battery is running low. So I check to make sure that it is plugged in to the back of the laptop - it is- so what's the problem.? Then I get another popup - 'Battery Critically Low!' - so I figure that I should call the helpdesk to report the problem. As I am explaining the situation to the nice man on the phone - I say to him, but maybe I should check to see if the battery pack is plugged into the wall, maybe I am calling you for no reason at all. I lean down and look, and sure enough, it is not plugged in to the wall!! I apologized to the nice man for wasting his time and then had to laugh at myself!

I just had a case of 'Bride Brain'! I just got back from the bank getting all my certified checks for my final payments... I'm being organized and marking all the envelopes with who gets what, when I noticed I mispelled a word. I ripped up the envelope not realizing that the check was still in there. So I start freaking out because I can't find the check ANYWHERE. Something tells me to look in the garbage and low and behold a ripped up check and receipt!!!

Back to the Bank I GO!!!!!

i do the same thing ... i've been waitressing trying to make extra cash $$ ... i'm constantly walking into the kitchen to drop off dirty plates and then bringing them back into the front w/ me!!! then i'll talk to the chef and say something wedding like, but i'll actually be talking about the food or something!
