a certain vendor has not returned my 2 phone calls since friday and now im starting to think that i shouldnt book with them. i wanted to but they are kind of expensive, so maybe i should look elsewhere. im getting really pissed. the only reason why i still want them is because they are pretty talented and i think they would be able to carry out my vision. BUT if they cant call people back , w t f???????????????

Hmm...I'd give them until the end of today. A lot of vendors would be booked for weddings during the weekend, and then many are closed on Mondays. The end of business today would be the latest I'd give them.

yeah thats what i thought and then i will start my search again. i know they are closed fridays but u know they are checking messages.

Sometimes vendors are really busy on the weekend§ and lots are closed on mondays, I would give them another day.

check their hours. for instance i know my florist is closed mondays and tuesdays. for them, i'd give them til end of day wednesday.

i work in the events industry as well, and I don't usually get into the office until Tuesday to respond to email and voicemails. I would give them til the end of the day to respond. If they don't get back to you today, then i'd look for someone else.

I am going through the same thing with a hairstylist - it IS annoying, but you don't want to completely write them off b/c they're supposedly the 'best of the best.'
I agree with the girls above - give them until end of day today and then write them off!!

I would give them maybe another day or two. If and when they do contact you- make sure you let them know your concerns. You dont want to book a vendor thats impossible to contact!

My policy is this: I give vendors 48 hours to contact back by phone, 72 hours by e-mal. However, I do not include Fridays or weekends since that is their busiest time. I would give them until Wednesday, and then say forget about it.

i agree!!!!! omg ive had this happen with a like 2 people and its seriously so annoying, id rather give my business to someone that wants it
