A Christmas Card OMG!

We get a card yesterday addressed to Jerry's mom AND dad. Now you all know his mom passed last Dec and his dad passed in Jan 2005. The card says:
'Dear Don and Leslie,
Ed ______ died in 2004 after bypass surgery and suffering a stroke. Sorry for the DELAY in informing you!'


Delay???? Its freaken 7 years later and you are just getting around to letting them know

So now we have to write to these people (Jerry has no idea who they are)and tell them that his parents have passed away.

All I can do is

OMG That's horrible! Why would it occur to someone to notify them after 7 years?! And now that you guys have to write them back to say that Jerry's parents have passed? a head scratcher indeed...
