A complimenting BM with Dress question

I know it's a matter of opinion and what people like. I want to know what your opinion is. I'm trying to figure out what looks good.

If you have a strapless dress should your BM have strapless also? Halter style with halter style and so forth. What do you think are the two that best compliment each other?

Matching or combo? If you pick combo which combo do you like?

For my sister's wedding she wore a halter, and the girls wore spaghetti strap with a drape over the top of the arm. We did not attempt to do any matching. It was strictly a question of what dress I liked the best.

For my wedding, we're all wearing spaghetti straps. I did not in any way attempt to match BM dresses to my dress. My girls asked for anything other than strapless. I personally don't like two piece dresses, or anything that looks like it is a two piece dress, so my choices were limited.

I personally didn't want my BM in the same stule as me.

I am wearing strapless andmy BM are in spaghetti strap halter style. My MOH is in strapless.

My SIL had all of us in strapless though b/c she was in strapless...it's a matter of style.

I didn't think about whether the BMs would be the same as me or not. We went with the style that suited them best and that I liked best. Both girls wanted strapless and so did I, so that's what we're having.

No, I don't think so. I mean, if it works out like that, I think it is ok, but personally, I don't like everything to be matchy matchy down to details like that.

I wore a strapless dress, my BMs wore a dress with spagetti straps and my Jr. BM wore dress that had a halter top!

I really don't think it matters. I think thats too picky. I had a halter my MOH had strappless and my BM had spagetti straps. But it's your wedding see what you like bests.
