I paid a visit to my parents tonight. Dad and I were watching the news together and we discussed his concerns about the new government in Italy (Mom and Dad are from Italy). And I knew he was being serious but I couldn't help myself...
Dad: So what's new?
Me: I've been watching too much tv lately; it's terrible.
Dad: Why? What are you watching?
Me: Yankee games and reality shows. I even watch American Idol lately.
He pauses for a few seconds and says: I can't believe Chris got voted off.

that's too funny. i am ideologically opposed to AI, but when my daughter's grandmother was here over the weekend, she and FILs had a 10 minute discussion over it....filled with my eyes rolling of course!

And here's the solution to your problem: that lil button on your remote control that says 'Mute'. You can still be IO to AI and still get your fix of Chris. Well not anymore, but you know what I'm getting at...
