So I was looking through my proofs the other day and I thought of a tip for future brides:
If you choose to wear the blusher while walking down the aisle, tell whoever is giving you away to fix the veil after he lifts it. Also tell your MOH to double check it and fix it if necessary.
Remind your BMs to carry their flowers LOW. Everyone always carries them at their chest level which completely hides the gown. It looks much better when they are carried belly button level.

I agree...one of my gals had her bouquet like right under her chin. Also if your girls will be wearing a wrap, make sure they practice wearing it the same way. My gals all had them on different, and it looked a little silly in the group pic.

Re: A couple of tips from a newlywed...
I kept telling my nephew (age 4) at my brothers wedding that he needed to protect his belly from all the aunts and uncles. If he didn't cover his belly with the ring pillow, people would come over and tickle him. It worked!!!!

I AGREE. I did this and am SO annoyed that noone (the PHOTOGRAPHER) told me to hold them lower!
ANOTHER TIP: regarding church flowers Have someone at the church early to make sure there are not already flowers by the alter that contrast in color to your flowers. At my church, someone had left bright yellow flowers up which are in ALL the pictures, and clash with the burgandy color scheme!!!!

Re: A couple of tips from a newlywed...
I agree about the blusher- in my video after my dad lifted it up and gave me away, Im walking over to my DH with a bunched up on 1 side blusher- it looked stupid!!!
and about the boutineers for the guys- make sure the florist writes down the names on the bag or give a list to one of the GM's- my father had the wrong one on and so did my step grandpa, it was very annoying in the pictures!
AND if you are giving corsages out the same thing, Put one of the mothers of the FG, or JR BM in charge of them since they will be at the house when the delivery comes- 2 of my aunts didnt get one and we dont know what happened to them
Even with a DOC small things like that get overseen , b/c she is with YOU- those items get sent over with the guys and then if they dont know it doesnt get done right!

Re: A couple of tips from a newlywed...
this is all so true!
in some non-pro pics i noticed i'm holding my bouquet too high walking down the aisle---this got overlooked. also, both my parents walked me down so it was a little awkward with the bouquet. my photog did a nice job of telling how to hold it for the pics.
i wish i'd given better directions to whomever hung my pew decorations--- it was supposed to be every other pew but i noticed that they were just placed haphazardly. like three in a row, then one skipped---
my cake also---wish i'd given better instructions on the decoration. my bridal attendant did the decorating and i didn't like the ferns in addition to the orchids. i don't know if the ferns were added in by chcc (which i'm leaning more towards) or by my florist.
not huge end of the world things, but yes annoying in pics...

Thats so funny, I was just picking pics for the albums and I have my flowers so high in 50% of the pics(they were heavy) But def keep flowers low. and make sure ALL people are looking at the camera. My brother is smiling but looking somewhere else in a lot
