Did you use one of those kits, and if you did, which one did you use, and did you like it?

Re: a DIY invite question:
I didn't cross that bridge yet, I'm still looking around, a friend used a simple kit from Michael's and added a ribbon to make it a little more interesting. They were just plain ivory single sheets. I want something a little more fancy I think (but we'll see bc I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that will end up in the garbage.)

I didn't use a kit but I used Adobe Illustrator. It took awhile for me to get use to since I'm use to photoshop. There's a lot of stuff out on the web like brushes and images that you can use for free.

Re: a DIY invite question:
Well what I am doing is: I ordered a sample invitation of one I loved, the concept not neccessarly the colors , then got the cardstock I wanted via AC moore and online sources and took apart the sample to see how to do it , took measurments etc. and embellished a bit more and i am loving it. However if my sister wasnt as crafty as she is i probably would have ended up ordering invites!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: a DIY invite question:
On average how much does the DIY invitation cost in total? Do you think its worth it b/c it takes so much time to assemble?
