i agree ... but also, i don't believe in asking LIW which dress is prettier because everyone has different taste. if you truly like both dresses equally, then wait another month and try them on again and see if you still feel the same ... and if you still feel the same at that point, then just buy the cheaper one lol

ITA! I'd even wait longer than a month. You have a loooooooooooooooong way to go before your wedding- new dress styles are coming out all the time. I've seen too many brides on here with dress regrets or wind up with 2 dresses!

Just in general, Maggie sottero although beautiful is a more or less standard dress, they are beautiful and affordable so everyone gets them. Eve of Milady dresses are double the price and Magnificent. If you aren't a simple bride and have a high budget for a wedding dress ( about 3-5,000) then look at some eve dresses. I think Bridal reflections has them.

I think maggie dresses are equally magnificent..some of hers are quite ornate and though they don't have the price tag of an EOM they are equally stunning...personally, i like maggie dresses more, but like the other posters said, its all based on personal taste!

Not only do we need to see the dresses to vote, but we need to see YOU in them. That is what matters. How you look and FEEL in a dress.

I don't think they are 'standard'. I think most dresses have something special about them. More expensive does not equal more 'magnificent'. I have a Maggie and I would have picked it over any dress in the store and I went to some more expensive stores as well because I loved it - not because it was 'standard' or basic or anything like that.

I love Maggie gowns because they have the look of a designer gown, yet they are affordable to the average bride.

I'm going to be biased and say I love maggie sottero's. The dress I want is a maggie

My gown is an EOM gown so I'm a little biased.....but I tried on a lot of Maggie's too. I just didn't get that feeling until I put on the EOM gown though. That's not to say you won't get it with a Maggie gown.........to me, it all depends on the gown and your personality. I knew I wanted a ball gown with LOT of detailing and a cathedral train, and I just didn't find that with any of the Maggie's I tried on.

Just a thought - if you want the look of an EOM gown without the pricetag, you may also want to check out the Jasmine line. My second choice dress was a Jasmine.

I used the wrong Vocabulary word, i personally love both designers. Maggies dresses seem to be more common for people to buy because they are beautiful and have a very good price point.

I would not pick a wedding dress based on which designer makes it. Pick the dress that is right for you. The day I choose my wedding gown I had no idea who the designer was until after I had tried on the gown. I would suggest making an appointment at a bridal shop that carries both dresses you like so you can compare them.
