if u're colors aren't red.. is it okay to have the flower girl drop red flowers???
my colors are burnt orange and gold.. but i cna't see orange petals.. that just sounds ugly.. would red flowers look crazy?
or should i use gold petals?

hummmmm I see what you mean well if her basket and dress match the color of the wedding there shouldnt be a problem with red rose petals (I agree red petals give it a different effect)

I personally think red is fine no matter what colors you are using. It's a classic color...it will only clash when the girls are walking back down the aisle and by that time - who's looking at the ground???

I dont see a problem with red flowers but just remember, most of your guest will not even remeber what color flower shes dropping because they are going to be focused on you!

If you use a darker red like a burgandy you should be fine.
It goes with orange because they both fit into the fall color scheme.
