1) did u have ur bridal party get ready at ur house the morning of? how did u handle the morning of stress.. my bridal party for the most part has done nothing but add stress to my day and have not been very helpful.. i love them but they just dont get it at all. I dont want my morning to be hectic when I know I will already be stressed out..any tips!?
2) Did you take all ur pictures with ur veil on? When does the veil go on??? Im really confused about this aspect of the day lol
3) Did wearing ur dress and all the extras feel totally unnatural? I tried on EVERYTHING today and my first thought was omg how will I maneuver in this dress and outfit all day-I mean its not everyday I wear my tiara and veil out shopping to the store LOL Do you basically not even realize it as the day went on?
I am feeling stressed and I can't stop crying b/c no1 is being helpful and if anything the close people around me are making me more upset then calm..

Re: a few q's for the married girls..
Awwwwww~I'm so sorry you're crying...People can be totally useless where weddings are concerned.
I had a really small BP (2 girls), so they got ready at their houses and then came to mine about an hour before we had to go.
Your veil will be on after your hair is all done~your hair person usually puts in on. I took a few pics with my veil on, but it came off after we got to the RH. I know of some girls who leave it on all night and that's fine too.
Wearing the dress, tiara, jewelry, veil, everything felt VERY NATURAL and you really don't even realize all that stuff is on (at least I didn't anyway). HTH at least a little

Re: a few q's for the married girls..
Awww! Sorry you're so stressed. I know how you feel. I sweated a lot of the details and no one around me (aside from LIW girls) understood.
1) Almost all of my girls got ready with me in my hotel room on the morning of the wedding. It was way easier that way. PLUS I am a control freak, so i liked knowing where almost all of my BMs were...making sure they were on schedule! If you think they're gonna stress you out, then get ready without them, but make sure that they know where and when to be where you need them!
2) I took all my pics before the ceremony with my veil on. When the ceremony was over, I removed the veil and added a hair flower. So, I have plent pics of both! You can really do whatever you want, its your day! if you wanna wear the veil all day, do it! If you don't, dont!
3) On the morning of the wedding, it all felt uncomfortable. I couldn't sit right..stand right. My dress was very heavy. However, it got sooo much easier as the day went on. You're so busy that you don't even notice! in the end, it was totally worth being uncomfortable for that period of time...the pics we got were awesome.
I hope this helps!!!

First all of, please don't cry! You'e getting married soon (yay!)
Here is my experience:
1) did u have ur bridal party get ready at ur house the morning of? how did u handle the morning of stress..
We got our hair/makeup done in the salon (one BM opted to go to her own hair girl- no problem). Everyone met at my house at 9AM. It was a little crazy. Honestly, most of the time was spent with me, my MOH, and DOC taking pics of me getting ready. It was very stressful. Make sure you eat something !
2) Did you take all ur pictures with ur veil on? When does the veil go on?
Veil when on when I was getting ready and I took all my formal shots with it on. (Just the finger tip length- cathedral attachment went on right before I got into the limo). Took it off about 1 hour ino the reception
3) Did wearing ur dress and all the extras feel totally unnatural?
It was heavy and hot (especially in July) but I got used to it because I felt like a princess. The headband got annoying though because it was poking into my head but I just kept adjusting it.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask us! You can alwyas FM me!

Re: a few q's for the married girls..
ok first breath! its going to be ok.
1. yes my bridal party got ready at my house. they all went and got their hair and makeup done and then met me at my house.
2. for my veil, i didnt even want one, so i had it on for some pictures but most of my pictures i didnt have it. i think most girls take the majority of their pictures with their veil on.
3.the dress was deff overwhelmong at first.it was a pain to always carry the train and move in it. i always needed help[, esp wth my flowers in my hand. but it gets better as the day goes on. also at the reception my hands started to hurt from holding it up so i wouldnt step on it while i dance and walk, bc i had my flip flops on.
as for my nerves i was soo calm, even my hair girl was telling everyone in the salon that i was getting married today and they couldnt believe how clam and relaxed i was. everyuone else was more nervous then i was.
dont worry everything will be fine and when your done you will be a pro! you be able to the rest of the 2011ers out!!!!

Re: a few q's for the married girls..
1. me, my mom, and my aunt got ready at the hotel. the hair and m/u ppl came to us to the room. I really didnt handle my mom annoying me very well and I really regret that so my advice is to have some wine to filter the annoyance noise
2. I took my pix prior to the CH and ceremony and had my veil on thru that whole time, my hair girl put it on after finishing my hair and she also was the one to put in my hair flower AND my bracelet lol (my mom was waaaay too nervous to do that). I took off the veil, or actually DH yanked my veil off, right after the ceremony. I wanted to be able to dance and not worried about someone pulling at it and ruining my hair
3. I LOVED wearing everything! one of the reason why I fell in love with my dress is how light it was, I really didnt feel I was wearing a big dress. and then how it all came together w/the hair flower, extensions, my DOJ that my parents got me, stockings and the highest heels I ever worn in my life - it was perfect. I wanna look like that again and that is why I am dying to do TTD
dont worry, what ur going thru is totally normal. I was too overwhelmed just thinking about all the details but in the end it all comes together
