A few questions regarding invitations and hotels.

I finally starting addressing my invites. They only have to go out in 2 weeks!!! I am doing them on my computer at home and boy oh boy if it wasn't so late I would have hired someone to do this for me. It took me 2 hours this afternoon just to get the spacing, font style and color just how I wanted it. Then it is one at time. Blahhhhh. Okay I vented.. My question for those who have done this already...where in the invitation did you put the direction card for the catering hall? Second question. We are having less than 10 out of town guests. From the postings I have read in the past, most of the hotels want you to reserve a block of several rooms. There is no point in my doing that because I know I won't need them. In your past searches has anyone found hotels that will let you book just a couple of rooms? And do they charge you the same amount? I am getting married in Lake Ronkonkoma so I am looking for anything east of Hauppauge. Thanks in advance.

We live in Ronkonkoma and we used the Holiday Inn Express in Hauppauge. They gave us a great rate of 119.00 a room and we reserved 20 rooms with no cost to us. It is brand new -- and even has an indoor pool ! It sits right on the LIE.

A few questions regarding hotels.

I have relatives that will have no problems with any hotel I block, but there are a few that might have trouble paying...should i book the one I want and expect them to find a less expensive one?
