A freakin rash

I was going to spare you all the digusting details of a MAJOR mess-up by my doctors but I am too itchy and grossed out and need to vent. So, of course, I am venting to those we don't mind 'listening'

I have a latex allergy. I honestly think almost everyone in the World knows about this allergy as I am very vocal about it with ALL doctors and nurses. A few years after a surgery the doctor found that using this adhesive stuff on my stitches caused a most digusting rash, hence my Latex allergy was discovered. Well, I had a special pink band when I was in the hospital that says LATEX ALLERGY, I tell EVERYONE verbally all the time SO this is well-known. Well the doctors used the stupid adhesive on my stitches and thus, started a rash that I will NOT describe to you all since even I cannot stomach it. But due to some nurses telling me that the rash I started to see was 'nothing really' they did not treat it until my day of discharge so it became a much bigger problem. Last night it decided to SPREAD EVERYWHERE. I got an emergency appointment with a Dermatologist today who gave me new meds and cremes. But holy mother this is gross and everywhere and I itch like freakin crazy....
I just need to vent how PO'D I am about this.

Just try not to itch, sometimes it amazes me at the carelessness of some of these dr's what if it was something more serious would they have missed it too. Hope it heals quickly and its not as bad as the chicken pox

It really sucks that some MDs pay so little attention to their patient's needs. Latex allergies are no joke.
