A Friend's Bachelorette Party Review!
So as I posted Friday, we had one of our friend's bachelorette weekend in NYC =)
We started the evening by renting a van to drive us in (we had SOOO much crap with us, it would have been impossible to take the train !)
My one friend and I always spot the best dopplegangers (when people look like celebs) and our taxi driver had to be Dave Chapelle [sp?] haha it was dead on! Well we had some champange in the taxi and arrived at the Days Hotel off Broadway.
Eh. it felt like we were in a horror movie. lol. The elevator barely fit 5 people, the hallways were sooo narrow, there were mirrors everywhere and it smelled really bad!
The room was tiny, considering there were 12 girls getting ready and pregaming. =)
We ordered hot pink tank tops that had a cute quote about buying her a shot. And we blinged her out with necklaces, bracelets, pins, gave her a whip (LOL) and I made her a cowboy hat with a cute bow and the word bachelorette on it :) She loved it!
So we went to MAMA MEXICO for dinner, and it was SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!!!! A++++++++
I split a meal with a friend and we got chicken tacos with refried beans, rice. so delicious! They had a marachi band and they played the wedding march!
-doppleganger- = sloth from the goonies. I swear this was the best doppleganger of the night, when my friend whispered it to me, I almost choked. So sad, but it was hilarious!
So after we ate, we headed over to JOHNNY UTAHS because it was a western themed place and our bachelorette is big into that (hence the cowboy hat) oh! we all wore bandanas too!
There was a mechanical bull that was out of control insane and we wanted her to do ti so bad, but the line was like hours long and it really looked scary LoL And it broke.
after this...really big girl...rode it. Let me tell you, she rode that thing until the cows came home. But then it broke. Yikes.
doppleganger- = JASON MRAZ. Well, to me it was Jason Mraz (in love with him) and he was dressed exactly like he would dress. His shirt said 'Ch Ch ch Changes' it was awesome. So I was talking to him for a little and we all took pictures with him (I have yet to see them, so my drunken doppleganger radar could have been WAY off - once my friend posts on facebook I'll post lol)
The rest of the night was a little blurry, but all I remember is laughing so hard the whole night.
6 girls ended up staying in the horror hotel, and 3 of us slept in the same bed. We were laying as still as we could. Priceless.
My friend who slept in the middle woke up this morning cracking up because she said in the middle of the night she woke up sweating, looked at me and I was sleeping on top of the covers, looked at my other friend and she was on top of the covers and she was trapped underneath the blankets so she had to wiggle out. I was laughing so hard!
Anyway, it was such a great time and our bachelorette really had a blast. =)
I recommend everything if you or a friend are into mexican food and bull riding, but the hotel, not so much. IT was 48 a person, but still. No thank you!
